ALAPPUZHA TO KOTTAYAM FERRY
The Kerala state water transport company
(KSWTC) operates ferry services for the
backwater communities. It's the only mode
of transportation for the many villages that
are sprinkled along the canals and around
the mighty Vembanad lake that stretches
between Alappuzha and Kochi covering
204 sq Kms.
