On arrival at Kottayam we soon encountered a
auto rickshaw carrying a calf, our taxi driver Sam
complied with the request to "follow that cow"
and we swung a left down a side road-bumpy
track where to our dismay discovered the poor
beast was visiting the veterinary with suspected
kidney stones. Being a martyr to stones myself I
really felt for it .
